&Tradition: Flowerpot Chandelier by Verner Panton
&Tradition presents the new series 'Flowerpot Chandeliers', inspired by the design of Verner Panton and ideal for versatile interior decoration.
Based on Verner Panton's original designs seen in projects such as the 1969 'Spiegel-Verlagshaus' and the 1979 'Pantorama' installation, it is now possible to create a chandelier using the iconic 'Flowerpot VP1' and the new, smaller 'Flowerpot VP10' pendants in configurations of either 10 or 31.
Panton's designs aimed to evoke emotion rather than simply create functional objects. The 1968 Flowerpot lamp remains a timeless classic of Danish design.
Panton's mastery of mathematics and geometry is evident throughout his career as a designer. The Flowerpot Chandelier reflects his affinity for repetition and circular forms, resulting in a visually striking installation suitable for both private and public spaces.
The matt white steel and aluminium shade ensures an even distribution of light.
