Gloster Furniture: Ambient Sol by Henrik Pedersen

From the first light of dawn to the last glow of twilight, we are illuminated, inspired, and carried by the sun. Its bright rays on the horizon symbolize hope, growth, and new beginnings. Since the beginning of time, the light of the sun has fascinated humankind, and as the day draws to a close, people unite in the appreciation of its beauty.

Much like its solar namesake, the new Gloster collection SOL heralds the arrival of a new day. But the longer the day lasts, the brighter SOL shines: during the day, it provides stylish and impressive shade, and as evening falls and darkness slowly settles in, an ingeniously integrated LED lighting system offers a soft, pleasant glow into the evening hours.

The frame of the SOL umbrella is made from powder-coated aluminum, available in Meteor or White. The canopy is crafted from Sorrel weave – a unique combination of naturally textured, colored fibers that are handwoven into a grid pattern. This creates a delicate, diffused shadow, offering a much softer transition into the night compared to the dense, traditional fabric canopies.
