Abstracta, a specialist in acoustic solutions, is committed to sustainability. In collaboration with Verk and renowned designer Ingegerd Råman, the company presents a new collection of acoustic panels covered with V.IR. - an innovative wool textile from Sweden.

For a long time, sheep's wool was considered a waste product in Sweden. With partners such as Ullkontoret, Väveriet i Bollnäs and Rodens Spinneri, Verk has created a value chain in which local wool is washed, spun and woven.

Wool is naturally flame retardant and ideal for acoustic solutions. The panels, designed by Råman, enhance the natural beauty of the grey wool fibres with a timeless weaving technique. They are available in three sizes (1000 × 1400 mm, 700 × 1000 mm, 500 × 700 mm) and have a frame made of untreated Swedish oak. The core is made of recycled textile waste and PET polyester.

The acoustic panels are available in three natural colours: light grey, dark grey and white. They are manufactured in Sweden using renewable energy. Whether in offices, restaurants or living areas, they optimise the acoustics of the room and add an aesthetic touch at the same time.
