Verner Panton designed his first chair, the Panton One chair, for a restaurant in Tivoli, Copenhagen, in 1955. In 2003 the chair was re-launched by Joakim Lassen and the VP Lounge and VP Bar were designed on the basis of Verner Panton's written thoughts about other versions of the chair. In 2010 Montana has launched two new members of the family - VP kitchen and VP kids. The Panton One chair is available in 12 colours and can be used on the terrace or in the garden. The chair can be stacked on top of each other and can easily be moved in or out. The Panton One chair is hand-woven and 60 – 110 metres of string are used per chair. It takes a professional weaver approx. 1½ - 2 hours to make one chair.
