An evolved "made-to-measure" concept endlessly spreading the same idea of 'door', therefore redeemed from any restriction in project planning.

The LINVISIBILE product range - comprised of the Hinged System, Concealed Sliding System, Vertical Pivot Filo 5 and Filo 10 System and Special Closures lines – can indeed become indistinguishable from the architectural wall selecting any type of decor or wall painting or either be given light through the choice of glossy and matt lacquering, precious woods and any other kind of covering material.

LINVISIBILE was created in 1994 out of the experience of Portarredo Srl, an Italian company founded in the early 80's that specialises in manufacturing doors and locking systems featuring exclusive designs and materials.

Portarredo distinguished itself from the very beginning thanks to the fully-developed technological value of its products. It has also succeeded in earning a name with its brand at the top of the market of windows and doors. Through close collaboration with architects and engineers, Portarredo has developed products that look into the future of home-living, anticipating trends and needs. In the initial project, studies and researches were merged in order to propose personalised design configurations for architecture solutions that satisfy specific needs, different tastes and varied lifestyles.

LINVISIBILE has evolved from this project. It is the exclusive patented system for doors and locks totally flush-to-wall that enables maximum versatility and personalisation, offering elegant and functional solutions to every furniture idea.

LINVISIBILE philosophy

Over the years, the evolution of taste and furniture demands has turned doors into a key feature of interior design.

The objective of hiding and "masking" locks and openings in the walls is the fundamental concept of L'Invisibile philosophy. In fact, L'Invisibile system is the technological evolution of an old concept: dungeons. Doors that exist in perfect continuity with their setting, and were used throughout history to conceal from view openings whose existence we should not be aware of.

In the last years, the activity of the R&D department has led to a constant growth and, against the market trend, developed ideas and innovations able to satisfy the market needs and many a times, has anticipated them. In fact, only in 2010 four new products were launched and other 3 are being developed.

Testifying to its continuous improvement, the company has obtained from ICILA, the sole certifying body specific to the furnishing and woodwork sector, the certificate of quality ISO 9001 VISION 2000.

L'INVISIBILE develops with its own products and throughout the designer's views: new locks, smooth noiseless movements, seemless blend with domotics, even more evolved alignment with the wall comprise the last innovations resulted from an half-automatic technology that not only increases the productive capacity, but also strenghthens, if possible, the perfection and resistance of the system.

The know-how stemmed on site, the lasting experience acquired on the building site, the accurate and precise inspections made on each of LINVISIBILE product, the certification UNI EN ISO 9001-2000, the network of technicians, retailers and experts endlessly working at the designers' service are a warranty not only of excellent product quality but also of supplied service. Nothing goes unnoticed, nothing is disregarded in the process accompanying the product from the designer's immagination to the moment when the architectural space has to be built up.
