The Munich-based company Ambright has revolutionized the possibilities of lighting design with its patented light printing process. With the so-called 'printed-light' technology, LEDs are freed from their rigid placement on a circuit board and can be individually positioned on various surfaces and electronically interconnected by means of an automated process. The digital design platform "LightSketch", specially programmed by Ambright, supports the designer in the design process. In this way, unique luminaires are created that are tailored to the respective lighting and room requirements. Whether hanging from the ceiling, installed on the wall or used to backlight translucent materials of the highest quality, light and luminaires can take on forms of the environment or become individual design elements themselves.
Printed-light from Ambright thus enables planners and lighting professionals to design high-quality one-offs themselves and have them manufactured in Munich using high-end technology from batch size one.
