DryMode: Revolutionary Laying Method for Floor Tiles and Lindner Hollow- and Raised Floors
Without any need for primers or adhesives, the laying method DryMode allows 50% faster and dust-free laying of ceramic surface coverings.
The dry tiles are produced by combining a stone slab or a ceramic tile with a layer of cork, creating a precisely manufactured compound tile of any size. This tile can then be laid immediately on smooth substructures, ideally FLOOR and more® hollow floors. After they are laid and grouted, they obtain their full load-bearing properties after 12 to 24 hours. A circumferential edge on every tile makes for a predefined alignment of the panels to a joint width of 3 mm. The cork coating also acts as an acoustically effective decoupling from the substructure.
Be it for moving, change of tenants or other changes in the utilization of a space, the tiles can be removed quickly, without residue and without any damage to the building structure. In case a single tile is damaged, it can also be exchanged within mere minutes with no additional drying period: simply uncover the tile, remove it, insert a new piece and refill the joints.
DryMode is especially attractive for large, continuous areas, which are commonly found in office buildings, museums, educational establishments, atria and shopping centres. Large-format tiles can be laid in a low-risk manner, without emissions, dust-free and, most importantly, quickly and comfortably.
