The circular element as a design feature can also be found in the wall-hung toilet. Here Grcic and Laufen have succeeded in giving the ceramic body an extraordinary optical lightness through a skilful combination of straight lines, round basin and tapering elements. In addition there is a high degree of utility, because the wall-hung toilet and floorstanding WC-combination are rimless, and thus extremely easily cleaned in everyday use. The new toilets can be flushed with 4.5 and 3 litres, or 6 and 3 litres.
