Attach Outdoor

The successful Attach table series, designed by Troels Grum-Schwensen for Swedish design company Lammhults, is at Salone Internazionale del Mobile, April 4-9, launched for outdoor use. This increases the possibilities even further for this award-winning table.

Attach table was originally launched at Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2016 and within one year, it has already received 4 design-awards: IDA Design Award, European Aluminium Award, Design S – and a few days ago Attach was also a winner of the famous IF DESIGN AWARD 2017!

Attach is a table system offering almost limitless possibilities in terms of size, shape and design. By using just a few simple basic elements, the table can be adapted to suit a variety of rooms and offers scope for modifications over time. The frame consists of a beam and legs of recycled aluminium. Table tops of almost any format can be matched with this simple structure. The most common table formats, such as rectangle, square and circle, can also be supplied in exact sizes to suit customer requirements. To the centimetre.

Combined with a wide selection of table top materials and a choice of colours for the legs, Lammhults offers a mass-produced yet unique table that can be freely adapted to the specific room and environment. Designer Troels Grum-Schwensen’s collaboration with Lammhults has resulted in the simplest ever leg attachment solution in the designer´s many years of research into furniture innovations. The legs attached under the table frame do not need to be screwed, threaded or twisted into position. You merely attach them to the beam in one simple step and then the leg locks itself into place with the aid of gravity when weight is put on the table. Hence the name - Attach!

Attach table system was an instant success and Lammhults saw the rapid development of the interest and demand for the Attach table. This led to the development of also offering the whole series in height 90cm as well as existing height 74cm.

To expand the areas of use for the Attach series Attach Outdoor is now launched, placing the table also in outdoor environments. Attach Outdoor uses the same clever design as Attach, with the extruded aluminum beams and attachable legs of cast aluminum, but is combined with a table top of wooden slats. This makes Attach Outdoor the perfect choice for the office atrium, home garden or outdoor café. Choose between natural or dark oiled low maintenance material Accoya. Accoya is the world’s leading high technology long life wood and has properties that match or exceed those of the best tropical hardwoods and treated woods, yet is manufactured using wood from sustainable sources. Attach Outdoor is available in height 74 and 90 cm in three different widths and several lengths between 165 cm up to 315 cm.
