The new Archal model, with its higher back, offers even more comfort and is designed for meetings, offices and settings with very high demands on comfort, design and also our environment. With a frame of recycled aluminium, the Archal range is based on a new material for Lammhults. The aluminium used in Archal is 99,9% recycled and the material is supplied and moulded within 100 km’s from the factory in Lammhult. It takes around 350 aluminium cans to create one Archal armchair.
With this latest model, the Archal series, launched in 2011, now comes in three different heights , and ranges from a stackable, fine-tuned wooden chair to a number of upholstered versions, from a stackable 4-feet chair to a height-adjustable 5-star swivel base on castors – the possibilities with the chair are almost infinite. The wide range of options and executions make the Archal series suitable for almost any environment, as a visitor’s chair, an office chair, in an auditorium, in a conference room, for executive meetings etc. Of course, Archal fits equally well in home interiors.
Together with Lammhults, the designer team behind the chair spent more than 3 years on product development, which shows the difficulties in a new chair, with new aspects. Archal is the essence of the knowledge Lammhults has collected in technology, innovation and design.
