150km from London and just 21km from Bristol is the city of Bath, where the Forbes Fraser Pharmacy, of Royal United Hospitals Bath (NHS Foundation Trust) is found, a project which has used the Solid Surface from PORCELANOSA, KRION®. Far from being a simple medication dispensary, the pharmacy is found at the heart of the hospital, covering the use of medication and offering a better and more effective service to patients.
The new installations include an aseptic suite that contains five cleanrooms, allowing the in situ production of personalised treatments against cancer, also having a radiopharmacy space and diagnostic tools.
The IBI Group architecture studio and construction company Kier Construction (Western and Wales), relied on the KRION® transformation company Medspace Solutions for the manufacture of the island treatment countertop and the perimeter support tables from 6905 Ash Grey colour KRION.
