Mouth-blown and artisan produced glass is not commonly viewed as a typical material associated with the manufacturer of light fittings that generate worldwide sales. However, glass possesses all the elements of a modern, elegant and versatile material. Whether blown, pressed, ground, sandblasted or silvered, it remains a versatile modelling material. As garden lighting, these objects make use of the changeable properties of glass and become unique, sculptured forms, seemingly organically formed in the hands of the master glass maker. A small air bubble is blown into the moulded glass on top of an accentuated, black metalized core. A crystal-clear light guide is satined at the top and transports the light into the core of the air bubble. These unique glass objects also fit into the nature of the garden, analogous to the light principles of quality, design and architectural integration.
