Take a backrest, a seat and four legs, add a touch of Scandinavia, pack it all in a box, and you’ve got “Kitt”, the breezy chair Stefan Diez designed for Hay.

Daniel Rybakken's approach has been honoured early on with many awards. We spoke to the designer about how chairs are like human bodies, the relationship between art and design and what his father taught him about cars.

"Where Would We Be Without You?" was the motto of this year's 3daysofdesign, Denmark's most important design festival, which took place in Copenhagen from 7 to 9 June 2023. Poorer of many wonderful memories and encounters would be my answer to this question.

At first sight Hamburg’s “The Morgenmuffel” looks like several restaurants all rolled into one. Every room is different, and the various interiors do not seem coordinated with one another.
