When choosing windows, the interaction of how it opens and the spatial situation play a key role. This is also true of center-pivot and top-hung windows for which free access is especially important. As a result, the windows can be easily opened and the inhabitants can optimally benefit from the large opening angles and the resulting views. To give planners, tradesmen and users greater flexibility, VELUX has now expanded its range of electric "INTEGRA" windows to include the "VELUX INTEGRA GPU electric window", which combines the advantages of both electric and center-pivot/top-hung windows.
With its generous 45° opening angle if affords a free view out, as if you were standing on a balcony. Thanks to the electric controls, the window can be opened in any position and spatial situation. Moreover, the window has a manual center pivot. Meaning easy ventilation and cleaning is guaranteed. Thanks to a built-in sensor, the window closes automatically in the event of rain. Moreover, there’s a special finger-trap system that identifies obstacles when closing and thus enhances safety.
The "VELUX INTEGRA GPU electric window" is available in eight customary sizes with lengths of 118 centimeters and 140 centimeters and four different widths of 66 centimeters to 114 centimeters, which makes for great scope when planning. It is available optionally with double or triple-glazing in a plastic frame. VELUX also offers a range of accessories, such as blinds that can be installed on the window wings. Thanks to the especially strong pneumatic spring in the center-pivot/top-hung window, it can be opened electrically even when the blinds are down. Moreover, VELUX has developed an electric and solar heat awnings as well as interior-mounted sun protection products.
The "VELUX INTEGRA GPU electric window" and the associated heat protection can be operated using the "VELUX ACTIVE" Smart Home System. This means inhabitants can choose between adjusting the ambient temperature themselves by App or having the system handle everything (CO2, humidity, and temperature) on the basis of the room sensors.
