objectiv has been dealing with the topic of room acoustics for over 20 years. The company, headquartered in Cologne, produces its acoustic solutions at two locations in Germany and pays attention to maximum manufacturing quality as well as high environmental compatibility and sustainability of its products. For example, production as well as offices and workshops on the Cologne campus are supplied with green electricity. However, the sustainable approach is not only reflected in the manufacturing process, but also in the products themselves. One example is the ceiling and wall panels of the "AluFrame Smart" series, which represent an effective and at the same time design-demanding solution for optimizing room acoustics.
The sound absorbers of the individual acoustic panels are made of at least 65 percent recycled PET. This not only protects the environment, but is also healthier for people, as recycled PET is free of respirable fibers and toxicologically harmless, unlike commonly used materials such as glass wool or mineral wool. In addition, the material is allergy-friendly, resistant to cleaning, can be disposed of by type and is adhesive-free. However, the sustainable approach is not only reflected in the sound absorbers, but also in the frame made of recycled aluminum that encloses the respective acoustic panel. The products are also part of objectiv's Germany-wide "Take Back" system and are therefore taken back for recycling free of charge within 20 years.
"AluFrame Smart" can be used for both residential and commercial applications and is suitable as a cost-effective acoustic solution for both new buildings and retrofitted soundproofing concepts. The acoustic panels feature the highest possible absorption level with a class A sound absorber and are also flame-retardant. They reduce sound levels and improve speech intelligibility in a wide variety of rooms. Spatial flexibility is also helped by easy installation, which is done via magnets, with high-quality cable and magnet sets included with the product. "AluFrame Smart" also scores with its minimalist appearance: the acoustic panels are available with a white or metal-colored aluminum frame, which is combined with a white fleece absorber. The minimalist design can be discreetly integrated into any spatial situation and provides an elegant acoustic framework that contributes to the well-being and performance of users.
