Made in Italy: this is what the design furniture manufacturer Bonaldo, based in Padua and founded in 1936, stands for. The company's collections include tables, chairs, sofas, beds, lighting and accessories, produced in Italy with the latest technology from high-quality materials. In addition, the company collaborates with renowned architects and designers such as Alain Gilles, Karim Rashid, Ryosuke Fukusada, Mauro Lipparini, Fabrice Berrux and Bartoli Design. Both Bonaldo's production and design are subject to a constant process of evolution, which led to a new living concept called "B/Style". For example, the coordinated collections "Dining", "Accessories & Lighting" or "Night" and "Living" are possible. These are based on a harmonious dialogue between the furniture objects themselves, which is derived from the interaction between furniture and space. Bonaldo divides various environments into different room scenarios, resulting in day and night areas or rooms for living and working. "B/Style" offers carefully curated furniture for this purpose, which can be optimally integrated into the respective spatial setting.
In addition, Bonaldo also has complete series for specific living areas in its program as part of "B/Style": one example is the new "Nelson" collection designed by Matteo Nunziati, which includes furniture for the sleeping area with a bed, bedside table, vanity, home office and bench. The Italian designer was mainly inspired by classical modernism and the designs of George Nelson, after whom the new collection is named: "I always look for new inspirations to develop my projects, both for interior and product design. In the case of Bonaldo, the Nelson collection is inspired by the modern movement. In particular, I studied the work of American designer George Nelson as a starting point for this collection for the sleeping area: hence, simple aesthetics for a collection based on maximum functionality," he says of the concept. The series thus offers the possibility to realize projects with a precisely coordinated furniture. But even if the pieces are created by different designers, "B/Style" can be used to define a unified style in which both the design and the architectural setting fit together perfectly.
