Arper: Individual and modular furnishings for Parfums Christian Dior

"The biggest challenge was to design a space that was efficient in terms of ergonomics and acoustics, to improve people's well-being and to create an ambience that was not only beautiful from an aesthetic point of view, but also extremely functional. A place where employees feel at home," says Michael Bezou, creative director of Saguez & Partners. For Dior, the team furnished the headquarters of Parfums Christian Dior, the perfumery and cosmetics line of the French fashion house. The interior design features a multitude of transparent and reflective surfaces that allow plenty of daylight into the rooms. Meanwhile, the design of the interior with products by Arper is emphatically homely: both the "Loop modular" sofa and the "Pix 47" and "Pix 67" upholstered stools and ottomans bring a lot of comfort and a pleasant materiality to the rooms. The "Cila" chairs add a dynamic aesthetic with their sweeping curved silhouette of the seat shell. "In particular, the Arper collections helped to add some curved lines to the orthogonal building. To this end, the Cila collection proved particularly useful," says Michael Bezou.

Combined with the straight lines of the "Catifa Up" office chairs, the "Cross" tables and the "Steeve" sofa, Arper's interior thus offers multifunctional use. Thanks to the wide choices of colours for the finishes, they could also be individualised: "The inclusion of the Arper collections was decisive for the interpretation and design of the interior. The possibility of product customisation in terms of colours and fabrics allowed us to meet our client's requirements. We chose products in the typical colours of the Parfums Christian Dior brand – grey, pink and champagne," says Bezou. The result is a modern working environment that was able to be designed according to the brand's wishes down to the last detail: "Arper is characterised by an elegance that perfectly matches the style of Parfums Christian Dior. But in particular, the company offers comfortable, ergonomic products that are durable – a sustainable design that is perfectly in line with our values," sums up Michael Bezou.
