The rounded square section is inspired by the forms of the curvilinear coordinates and so-called super-ellipses that came about from the research of mathematician Gabriel Lamé. The product has simple, fluid forms that are ergonomic and pleasant to the touch. It is created with a matt black enamelled knob. It has also been developed in the matt white and chrome chromatic variations and in the formal variation with lever.

Colored faucets – in the mid-1970s, they amounted to a revolution in the market. For Italian design workshop Fantini, they marked the dawn of a new age in several respects: Their “I Balocchi” mixer, which translates as “the toys”, designed in 1977 together with Davide Mercatali and Paolo Pedrizzetti, represented the company’s entry into the world of design.
