With their “Cadenza” furniture collection David López Quincoces and Expormim are offering a new take on rattan as a material – and a dynamic design solution in the form of vertical struts.
If you bring together craftsmanship, humbleness, discreet design, simplicity and comfort as designer David López Quincoces has done, the result is Cadenza, a rattan collection aiming to overturn the conventions of luxury and give it a new meaning. The seek for harmony and the almost musical rhythm of the collection revolve around the unique features of the material. Armchair with structure made of peeled and tinted natural rattan of 32 mm/1.26” diameter. Backrest and sides manufactured in peeled and tinted natural rattan of 10 mm/0.4” diameter. Finished with a three step water-based coating (dye, base coat and top coat) highly resistant to solar radiation thanks to UV filters. Possibility of customization through a wide variety of fabrics. Protective caps.
