The EMU 2010 season, inaugurated at the end of last year with the presentation of 40 new products on the occasion of the big international shows, is enriched by a new collection, which will be presented as a preview for the foreign market at the winter ed
ition of Maison et Objet. The new series, designed by the Italian designer Andreucci and the German Hoisl, is called Cantilever, and is inspired in an original manner by the typical, comfortable, oscillating office chair. Now Emu presents it for the first
time in the garden, emphasizing once again the versatility of Emu products for indoor/outdoor use. Cantilever is the result of an idea for a chair made entirely from steel rods and tubular steel, the Emu material par excellence, with a "cantilever struct
ure," which gives an oscillating effect and is extremely comfortable, almost as if "gently rocking" whoever sits in it. Working with the transparency and lightness of the structures, the entire line was developed, and it includes an important rectangular
table that matches the chairs, a comfortable, cozy low armchair and a lounger with a clean, linear silhouette. The project is completed with the choice of cushions, made with the new Emu outdoor fabrics in solid colors and stripes, providing great comfor
