In the heart of Maryland, in a recently completed commercial space, EeStairs was contracted to supply and install an entryway feature staircase and bridge.
The curved staircase leads onto a bridge that connects the two ends of the front foyer. The main structure of the staircase is manufactured out of brushed stainless steel. The treads are stone to match the flooring of the space. The railings for the staircase and bridge are made using starphire glass panels with stainless steel handrails, distinguishing this structure with exclusivity.
In terms of the bridge, EeStairs was required to install the entire supporting structure as well as the stainless steel covering on the underside of the bridge. In addition, stainless steel tracks were installed to house the railing system along the perimeter of the bridge.
Installation of the staircase was the greatest challenge of the project. As the complete staircase structure had been fully manufactured in the EeStairs' plant, hoisting this large unit through a small 3rdfloor window opening required precise coordination. But with a determined team and good planning, we were successful in delivering this beautiful staircase.
