Working closely with AUDAX Architecture Inc, EeStairs has recently completed a stunning spiral staircase for a resident on the outskirts of Toronto. Using brushed stainless steel and clear tempered glass, EeStairs was able to design and fabricate a remarkable staircase.
The treads of this staircase contain 3 layers of 10mm clear tempered glass with an acid edge top for grip. Maintaining rigidity while keeping a low profile tread design was the greatest challenge for this project. But with a skilled team, we were able to complete the job. While the clear tempered glass treads give way to a modern look, the 1 ½” round brushed stainless steel cap rail with a curved glass panel railing offer a sophisticated appearance.
Because of its distinctive look and durability, brushes stainless steel was chosen for the railing of this staircase. The brushed look adjusts the shininess of the product, allowing it to be customized to your preferences. While this staircase is fabulous on its own, its also entails a glass landing with a stainless steel frame, adding to the ambience of the home. EeStairs is proud of the completed outcome of this impressive staircase.
