Lirico and Lirica. A modular system and a chair designed by Palomba+Serafini.
In this case, the duo has focused on the theme of lightness, looking for floating, linear shapes that
appear to be fluctuating above the floor. They have achieved this by means of the masterly use of
cast feet: a graceful, distinguishing detail of this sofa's personality. Lirico’s comfort stems from the
fact that it is made up of just a few, essential parts with cleverly-devised details. The independent
back and seat cushions, the perfectly-balanced parts, the clean-cut lines and the unperceivable
frame are combined in such a way as to enhance the design of spaces in a confident, carefree way.
The stainless steel structure has elastic webbing in the seat and is upholstered with polyurethane foam in different densities. The seat cushions are in polyurethane foam in different densities while the back cushions are filled with goose down. The feet are cast in black or silver-coloured aluminium. Available with a removable fabric cover or a non-removable leather one.
