Bell

With this pair of new suspension lamps, designed by the Diesel Creative Team and brought into life by Foscarini, light makes music. Diesel's rock-and-roll soul is materialized into two independent and complementary forms: the large disc of the lamp, Crash, recalls the top of a drum, while the silver bell of the lamp, Bell, evokes percussion; they set the beat, creating the step and rhythm for living.

The warm bronze colour of Crash and the aluminium finish of Bell make reference to the materials of musical instruments and the elements from which the two forms take their inspiration.
Both versions rest on a multi-faceted glass lamp holder with an industrial flavour, amplifying the “naked” bulb that is left exposed. The effect of the light is of particular impact: the beam is fragmented by the facets of the blown glass surface of the lamp. A double opening enables the light to be diffused both upwards and downwards, emphasising the transparent and musical shine of the drum and bell. An emotion on every beat.
