Visser & Meijwaard is a design studio focused on product, interior and scenographic exhibition design. The studio is run by Dutch designers Vera Meijwaard and Steven Visser. The studio creates distinct but minimalistic designs from an aesthetic world of material, colour and shape.

With an associative method and a deep interest in “form follows function” the duo looks for the aesthetics that are hidden in everyday products and find new ways to apply them. By playing with materiality, context and scale, Visser & Meijwaard re-evaluate existing functional details and create a completely new design.

Visser & Meijwaard also works on commissions. In the past the two partners have designed for Hermès Paris, Linteloo, Pulpo Products, and others.

Visser & Meijwaard’s work has been on show at Tradition and Innovation of Dutch Design Tokyo, Mint Gallery London, Roomservice Barcelona, Masterly the Hague, Object Rotterdam among a range of Design exhibitions around the world including Milan Design Week, Maison & Objet, ICFF and Collective Design Fair New York.

Vera and Steven are also curators and creative directors of design collective Kassiewijle.
