Revivals, evergreens and many colors: imm cologne 2016 likes sending its visitors time traveling. Since it is becoming ever harder to offer something really new, the option is to resort to the archive and refine things.

The trade-fair cycle starts to turn again. From January 18-24 the imm cologne opens its doors. We took a quick peek behind them and spotted the one or other novelty.

Design classics have long since conquered children’s rooms. But they have to be colorful. Irrespective of whether chairs and tables for adults have simply been miniaturized or unique children’s room classics created – you’ll find the most important items here.

The imm Cologne is swiftly getting back on an even keel. And how are designers and manufacturers making use of the opportunity? A tour of the trade fair shows that they often resorted to the tried-and-true, reanimating and dressing it up for contemporary use. Even Konstantin Grcic opted for a tongue-in-cheek approach to a design classic.
