Miki Astori

Asia is the inspiration. On his journeys through India and other Asian countries, Miki Astori allows himself to be inspired by local craft and industrial production methods. Born in Italy in 1965, he studied architecture, then worked for Antonia Astori in Milan and later for Philippe Starck in Paris. Miki Astori opened his own design office in Milan in 1995. He produces one-off designs, product collections and presentation concepts for Driade. A creative all-rounder, he mainly works as a designer, but is also active in interior design and architecture. Astori is Image- Consultant and Designer for Driade and for Japanese and Dutch companies. He created the LEAN ON mirror for the 2008 Schönbuch product programme.
