Jutta Werner draws inspiration from the global marketplace, bringing us a simple, elegant and international design. Her ‘upcycling’ rug NOMAD_01 won her the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2019. Born in 1969, she studied architecture at the HFBK Hamburg. She now heads up the NOMAD interdisciplinary design agency in Hamburg, devising projects all over the world for international companies such as DEDON, JAB ANSTOETZ GROUP and VORWERK. The winner of the DESIGNXPORT / HAFENCITY Awards, she was the one to equip the team hotel for the German national football team during Euro 2008.
