Biography
David Regestam (born 1980), architect SIR/MSA, designer MFA. David has studied Design at the University of Gothenburg's School of Design and Crafts, and Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. Since graduating in 2007 he has worked with architectural assignments, interior design and furniture design, at times also in Japan with Junichi Tokuda. For Karl Andersson & Söner the two have designed Steelo (2012): this contemporary take on the traditional ottoman is full of character, exhibiting light-heartedness in the interplay of contrasts while, at the same time, making full use of the properties of the materials from which it is made.
