Good design should be self-evident – this is the creative starting point for Apartment 8 and the guiding principle that Carolin Sangha follows. As Creative Director, she provides corporate design, creative consulting and product design services from her Munich agency casa 57, with the emphasis on fashion and interiors. As a child, Carolin Sangha lived for some years in India – a country with an abundance of culture and colour that soon stimulated her creativity. After studying graphic arts and fashion design, she worked as a fashion editor, freelance stylist, designer and art director for fashion magazines, advertising agencies and other companies. Her agency is responsible for the build-up and development of leading international brands, and she creates CI concepts and collections for major fashion and lifestyle companies. The products developed for Schönbuch under the Apartment 8 name can be regarded as a steadily growing collection of pure favourites. They include the DOTS coat hooks, the LINE wall-mounted coat storage unit, but also CHINA, BLOSSOM, SEAT, DENIM, the coat hanger 0112. and VIEW, as well as ONLY BOOKS, SWING and BEAUTY.
