Biography
Jörg Adam and Dominik Harborth founded their design studio in 1998 in Berlin. With their project »Helfershelfer – Second Aid« they became known to a broad audience - far above the design scene. The related exhibition was shown in known museums and galeries in Stuttgart, Berlin, Bremen, Solingen, and latest in mu.dac – Musée de design et d’arts appliqués contemporains in Lausanne and during the "Deutschen Kulturwochen" in Johannesburg, Southafrica. The english translation of their book (Second Aid – Doorstops, drip-catchers and other symbiotic gadgets) relating to the exhibitons is published at avedition.
Both designers developed successfully very individual single designs and after a while they progressed into full product collections for national and international labels.
Their designs were shown 2008 at the MoMa - Store of the Museum of Modern Art and the New York Times stated their "Mozartkugel" as a must-have. Their customers are e.g. Swatch, Very Lustre – Diamond Cutting, Berliner Sinfonie Orchester, emform, Konstantin Slawinski – houswarming objects, Cedon Kollektion, Siemens, Global Kangaroo, Deutsches Klingenmuseum, Autostadt Wolfsburg, Bisetti Italia, Trendform, Loony, Sydney Opera House, e+m Holzprodukte, Thomas Porzellan etc.

Special attention is given to Konstantin Slawinski – housewarming objects. The accessoire collection is very strongly influenced by them. One of our best products - PERLE - was developed by these 2 designers and celebrates its 10 yearsday this year for which we will have a special edition.
