13&9 Design

Founded in January 2013 in Graz, Austria, 13&9 is a product design firm based on the partnership between 2015 Contract Magazine´s Designer of the Year, architect Martin Lesjak, INNOCAD Architecture CEO, and fashion designer Anastasia Su. The interdisciplinary team’s cooperation with specialist partners has led to creating product collections from concept through production in sphere of lighting, furniture, floor coverings, fashion and accessories. The issues such as modularity, compatibility, flexibility and transformation are key in 13&9’s development of new products. From the beginning, 13&9 projects and products have been recognized with numerous awards and architectural publications world-wide.
The team at 13&9 has already garnered a list of awards, which include: LEAF Interior Design Award 2013 “overall winner“ and “public building of the year“ for Rolling Stones, 35th Annual Interior Awards of Contract Magazine 2014 for the same project. Nominations for the 2nd Annual Architizer A+ Awards 2014 and FX International Interior Design Awards 2013; iF Produkt Design Award 2014 for LOW LOUNGER & SIDE TABLE from LOW COLLECTION and finalist for the Interior Design‘s Best of Year Awards 2014 for ROCK LIGHT; Red Dot Award 2015 and A’ Design Award 2015 for DIAMOND SHADES; Best of Neocon Gold Award 2015 and Best of Neocon Editor´s Choice Award by Contract Magazine for MOVING FLOORS, as well as Metropolis Magazine Likes Award for the same flooring collection. Recently 13&9 recieved the recognition Austria’s Born Global Champion Award from WKO (Austrian Federal Economic Chamber).
