Inspired by one of his own projects “the water bottle Ty-nant”, Ross Lovegrove proposes a luminous mirror that dominates the environment with its strong personality. The mirror changes space perception reflecting objects and actions and animates the envir
onment diffusing light all around with a lateral light emission. It is not a plain mirror. It combines reflected areas with diffusing surfaces and, given the properties of the pixel structure, the volume of the bottle is shaped thanks to an interplay of s
hades. Specific glass coating technology is applied and as a result the material reacts to light according to where it comes from, reflecting, shielding or filtering it. The light that strikes the opaline areas does not interfere with the light reflected
on the mirroring surfaces. Its noticeable size adds character and functionality, in fact you can see your entire figure in the mirror. It is Danese’s way to pay homage to one of the most important resources of the planet: water. This product icon conveys
messages that can induce deep thinking on this important issue.
