Triskelion is a practical and elegant product for book and magazine storage. Behind its design lies a great deal of construction knowledge and manufacturing intelligence. This new product is made through the technology of laser cutting and bending of alum
inum plates. This last item added to the previous products designed by Gerardo Mari for Danese is still related to reading and writing.
Also Triskelion allows cross-operability between office and home, generating ideal home products that are both
functional and high quality. These products are small gestures that interpret well the contamination between contemporary times and places of work and life. Triskelion takes inspiration from a constructive principle already developed in previous designs
that combines many identical elements. When it closes up, it composes a structure that offers three pockets for storing magazines and documents. Elementary features, namely intelligent nesting, single material and durability make it a sustainable product
as well.
“triple rotational symmetry of a module that recalls an ancient symbol. The magazines find their natural equilibrium to the center in the interweaving due to the inclination of the supports. It is made of aluminum.” Gerardo Marì
