The plain fabric Luce is made up of a subtle material blend of polyester, cotton and stainless steel. The polyester is responsible for the sheen, the steel for the metallic look and the cotton for the soft touch of the fabric. The creative mix of materials goes hand in hand with the unusual finishing that goes from singeing to calendaring to crushing. Christian Fischbacher’s product Luce is manufactured in Lyon, which has been one of the most important textile centers in Europe since the 15th century.
