BORA Pots and Pans

The cooking spoon that used to be placed between the lid and the pot to direct steam to the extraction system has now been replaced by a specially developed tilting lid. Designed for optimum ventilation, it can be tilted with a simple flick of the wrist during cooking, directing the steam precisely to the hob extraction system - revolutionarily simple, yet as effective as you would expect from BORA's own product developments.

An eye-catching feature is the top stainless steel edge, which contrasts with the innovative All Black coating on the outside. The matt black silicone polyester coating, remarkably unusual for stainless steel cookware, offers exceptional scratch resistance. A ceramic coating has been deliberately chosen for the interior of the pan for its non-stick properties, making cooking and cleaning easier.

The finely crafted BORA pots and pans not only delight amateur chefs with their aesthetic design, but also offer far more than just the necessary functional features. With their unusually high-quality 5-ply construction made of two layers of stainless steel and three layers of aluminium, these cookware meet the obvious requirements for optimum heat distribution and retention, even heating and fast heat-up times. Each pot and pan is deep-drawn in one piece - a qualitative advantage over separately attached bases, which has a positive effect on heat retention. The flat, embossed base not only prevents scratches on the ceramic glass, but also minimises the noise level during cooking, aided by the lid's tilting function, which reduces the amount of steam required. A handy litre scale on the inside of the pot adds to the cooking experience.

Ergonomically designed handles have been at the forefront of product development: Both the side handles of the pots and the frying pan, as well as the handle of the tilting lid and the pan handles, are heat-reducing and comfortable to hold. Even for larger hands, there is plenty of space between the prominent loop handles and the pot body for easy handling and a secure grip, even when fully loaded. Stackability and easy cleaning thanks to a design without dirty joints are inherent features of BORA kitchenware. While the pots are dishwasher-safe, the pans are only partially dishwasher-safe. To prolong their life, they should be washed by hand. This high-quality cookware is oven-safe and not only ideal for BORA induction hobs, but also for all other types of hobs, including gas.
