The Cata family of LED projectors is expanded with new luminous performances and installation modes. An innovative moulded clear polycarbonate optical unit allows to drive the flow emitted by the LED source towards the output section, thus generating broad luminous beams (2x35°) with very high yields (approximately 80%) and a mild light scattering effect.

The special geometry of the reflector is made up of an external layer of 90° prisms reflecting light rays, while the micro-lenses on the inner surface provide for even distribution of light within the desired angles. The product range is integrated with 3 new fitting modes: downlight ceiling and fixed suspension, as well as directable suspension (90° on the horizontal axis and 360° on the vertical axis). Each of the above is available in the stable white (3000K – 4000K) and tunable white (from 2700K to 5700K) versions, on which the different available optical units can be mounted using a twist&lock mechanism.

Cata features an innovative catadioptric based around the principles of a lighthouse. The optical system has high axial intensities and an accurate light beam collimation, making Cata an extraordinary LED for accent lighting. The innovative mechanical configuration consists of 3 interconnected functional elements: ultra-thin power source, heat dissipating body, and interchangeable optical assembly via a ‘twist and lock’ mechanism. The separation of optical assembly and heat dissipating body, results in Cata being an extremely simple yet effective product, in terms of thermal management. The transparent materials and reflective surfaces make Cata distinguished by an unobstrusive design, giving a unique emphasis on light.
