Kiik

Islands for gathering. Constellations for activity. Kiik is created for the spaces between entry and departure, between waiting and doing. This modular collection of seating, tables, ottomans and consoles creates moments for working, gathering, or relaxation in graphic forms with myriad configurations.

Kiik has been created to address the needs of waiting rooms, university lounges, workspaces, meeting areas, and mixed-use spaces. Its modular nature and material finish specification options make it a complementary addition to any context. Kiik’s fundamental structures can be created with seats with and without backrests and tables in triangular, circular, square or rectangular shapes and completed with ottomans and low or raised consoles. Upholstery options in a variety of textures and colors create a unique expression appropriate to the space. Combine diverse configurations together for a dynamic effect, or create patterns with a repeated form. Kiik is ideally suited for any contract use to create bespoke spaces, to pause, to work, to meet. New options include: a cushion with a high backrest for greater support, a seat with an angular backrest for 90° configurations, armrests that can be positioned at terminal points or in-between seats, and a seat divider for the bench without backrests for greater privacy in public and shared seating contexts. The addition of USB power on seating surfaces as well as on tables and consoles ensures momentary pleasure in spaces designed to pause, to meet, and to wait.

Kiik’s modular collection of seating, tables, ottomans and consoles has gained even further customization with a series of new options designed for support, privacy, and conversation. Kiik’s elemental forms can be organized into myriad configurations and now include additional options for armrests, backrests, seat dividers, and usb power lending further versatility to contract contexts and public space.

The Kiik collection was designed with in-between spaces in mind: waiting rooms, university lounges, workspaces, meeting areas, and mixed-use spaces. These spaces for waiting, meeting, or resting are typically shared – strangers passing en route to a future destination. The Kiik collection has expanded to include additional options for comfort and utility in these interstitial and shared moments.
