Emotions can be controlled – by light as well. Which is why light is used as a therapy for depressive moods. And as a result light plays an important role in companies’ production facilities: where it is bright employees are more motivated, and there is a positive effect on sickness levels. Small wonder, then, that brightness plays a pivotal role in hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, and hotels. Thus, on a trial basis, several rooms in the intensive care unit at the Charité’s Virchow Clinic in Berlin were fitted with controllable LED lighting. The aim was to increase brightness when needed in order to promote the natural daytime-nighttime rhythm, because not dozing during the day means you can get to sleep better at night.
Better orientation, less noise, plus sufficient light, all this affects convalescence and indeed well-being in everyday life. Positive effects such as these are precisely why the LED luminaire “Be well” was designed. The innovative ADO Lights product stands for high power: With 10,000 lumen the luminaire boasts the equivalent output of a light shower. Blue, violet, be it for patients or a hotel setting: The hue of the light can be adjusted, as desired. The user just switches over. By means of remote control or app. The benefits are obvious: “Be well” brings more light into your life. More color. And that is good – for body and soul.
