The structure of the old brick-wall building was supplemented by an external thermal insulation and refined with an exterior plaster. By contrast, the new building
is made entirely of concrete, which – as a continuous strip in a dynamic course – attaches to, and extends over the structure of the old building. In order to accentuate the character of the new building, ALUCOBOND® was chosen for the outer facing. The s
eam structure of the aluminum emphasizes the dynamic edges of the new structure.
