At this year’s BAU in Munich manufacturers didn’t really seem to have that much thirst for the future. The industry is stuck between pragmatism and risk minimization, which impacts on architecture for sure.

The totality of the façade and the roof were realized with ALUCOBOND® panels riveted on omega profiles showing a horizontal joint pattern. The cladding adapted the curves of the
construction due to its flexibility and bending properties creating a surface with perfect flatness. In total, 3 000 m² of ALUCOBOND® were used. Durability was of the utmost importance, and with the resilient materials that comprise ALUCOBOND®, this goal
of longevity is ensured.
