The modular system Self carries on the exploration of new solutions that Rimadesio collection reserves to the living area: a project whose main quality is its versatility which allows to create single and double-sided free-standing sideboards, nighttables, drawer units and suspended wall compositions. Self can be freely designed, with modular horizontal compositions or vertical shaped cabinets The system consists of set of drawers with push pull opening and flap doors, completely covered by lacquered glass, and wooden lacquered open modules; doors and lateral sides are completely covered by lacquered glass, searching the preciousness in terms of aesthetics, thus enhances surfaces reflections. One of the main aesthetic characteristics of Self system is the single running lacquered glass top available in 62 colours Ecolorsystem, the same also available for the lacquered wood and the flap doors. A design result achieved thanks to the Rimadesio technology in the glass production. Rimadesio technology research allowed to design a new door entirely in aluminium, characterized by a continuos perimetral aluminium profile made with an exclusive “folding” system technology. Together with the free-standing proposals, Self system is also available with wall suspended compositions, modular and free positioning: cabinets and drawers that can be combined with Eos shelves. The wall-fixed profile guarantees an installation without visible screws, and includes the led lighting system, provided for all elements of the collection.
