Signs is a hand tufted rug. The irregular geometric shapes which decorate the rug in relief are made of silk and are hand chiselled in the wool surface. The background and the designs are dyed in the same colour; considering that silk dying always results in lighter tones, it creates a tone-on-tone effect. Only one colour can be chosen. Composition: background 100% pure new wool, design 100% royal silk Daily cleaning: vacuum cleaner with roller brushes. Deeper cleaning: injection/extraction with professional equipment, steam cleaning, powder detergents. Do not wash with water. No professional dry cleaning. Stains: pat the area with a clean cloth; use specific detergents following the manufacturer’s instructions.
