Deco

At Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, April 4-9, Lammhults presents Deco, designed by Julia Prytz. Deco is a series of smaller tables which makes a contribution to a more decorative environment.

As a result of Lammhults X-works project, where 5 design students were selected for a workshop year with Lammhults product development team, Deco is a flexible table series with a focus on activity and quick meetings. Suitable for various types of environments, from the office to the bar, the cafe and even the home, Deco works both indoor and outdoor.

Deco is intended for informal, relaxed meetings and contributes to a more decorative environment.

Julia Prytz about Deco: “My focus has been to create products for public spaces by adding clear and efficient characteristics but also strong aesthetic and decorative values. Therefore, I have drawn inspiration from the history and the decorative 20’s with the art déco style. I also wanted to understand more about furniture for the public, and to examine how to make these products both functional and elegant.”

The Deco table comes in four heights, 42, 52, 90, 110 cm, with a powder coated base. The table tops are offered in black 12 mm compact laminate or 16 mm plywood with ash veneer, natural or stained. Furthermore, the table tops come in three sizes: diameter 60, 70, 80 cm.
