Outline, designed by Metrica, Milan, is a storage system created for contemporary executive offices.
In addition to its traditional function, and to the display role typical of executive office systems, this decor feature will define your wall space, helping to create a professional environment and maintaining a sense of aesthetic quality more typical of domestic interiors.
The wall version is composed of an external frame that gives the outline of a space for both display and storage, and where design, materials, finishes, construction and performance all express a high standard of quality and refinement.
The system's full-width back panels form a graphic feature, with slim, parallel interstices in which steel shelves are rooted, as slender as the slots in which they are housed.Compositions for the most part develop horizontally, and include cabinets, drawer pedestals and flap-down units.Three versions are available: a floor-standing cabinet/bookcase, a wall-mounted unit, and a sideboard specifically designed to provide support and storage for the executive tables of the various Fantoni collections. The universal nature of this storage system is one of its key characteristics: it integrates perfectly with Woods (also by Studio Metrica) and Multipliceo – Fantoni's two leading executive collections – as well as complementing the other collections and above all adding a strong sense of personality.
Robin Rizzini, chief designer & partner at Metrica describes the design: “The concept behind this new wall system is to separate architectural and storage functions with a frame, organizing the space within this “picture” rationally and with geometric rigour. This answer to the needs typical of contemporary executive offices was formulated by striking the right balance between open and closed storage, thanks to the creation of a pleasing visual rhythm of horizontal spaces and solids.”
