The traditional glass lanterns made on the island of Murano are the inspiration for Dame, a collection of lamps designed to illuminate large environments or far more intimate spaces depending on the manner in which the various component parts are assemble
d. Dame’s aesthetic recalls both Tiffany lampshades and the stained-glass rose windows found in churches. Dame’s unique appearance is the result of the effect caused when its illumination is diffused through the lamp’s decorated inner thermoformed shade.
The innovative layering of materials is borrowed from automotive manufacturing and has never been used in the production of light fixtures before. Dame is available in a variety of selected configurations to suit any space.
