Terri Pecora.
Southern Californian, was born in 1958.
She studied fashion illustration at Art College of Design (Pasadena) and in 1988
transfered to Italy to attend Domus Academy in Milan for product design.

In 1991 she establi

shed her own studio and designed for a variety of european companies,
such as BRF, DNA, CERAMICHE TECLA, ESPRIT, EDRA, INTERFLEX / FLOU, MONTBLANC,
PLUMCAKE KIDS / PRENATAL, SILHOUETTE, ADIDAS, SWATCH, SIMAS, VICEVERSA and ZANOTTA.
The pr

ojects she works on vary from furniture, art direction and graphics to fashion accessories,
bathroom fittings, childhood and household products.

In 1994 the project “Mixo” for Interflex was selected for the “Compasso d&r

squo;Oro” premium in Milano.
In 1997 the “Sleeping Bag” for Plumcake Kids was included in the exhibit “Kid Size, the material
world of Childhood” attended by Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein.

In 2001

various Plumcake Kids products were chosen for the exhibit “Made in Italy” touring Japan.
Other products from the collection have been included in the ADI design index 2001.
The shower tray “Dish” was included in the 200

2 version of ADI design index.
