Michael Neumayr

Michael Neumayr was born in Salzburg, Austria to a Danish mother and an Austrian father. He started to study product design at Art Center College of Design (Europe) and later in Pasadena, California, graduating with honors in 1991, to start working at Sieger Design. Since the founding of his studio in 1993 in Munich, Germany, Michael Neumayr has provided strategic design services for a broad variety of renowned clients worldwide such as BMW, Dornbracht, Hiller Group, Lincoln, etc. He has developed residential and contract furniture, lighting systems, medical and electronic equipment, bathroom fittings, automotive design consulting services, retail, trade and exhibition design solutions, public, residential and commercial interiors and brand strategies. Michael Neumayr has been awarded multiple international design awards,  patents and trade marks. Michael takes a holistic approach to design that is influenced by his formal training at ArtCenter and the principles of Feng Shui, which he started to study in 1994. His constant strive to provide sustainable design solutions brings economy, ecology and human needs in balance.
