at confusion of concepts and solutions, lack of suitable Standards and of serious technical and experimental research.
Therefore, having precise questions without valid answers, our Company decided to proceed in the most responsible way, setting up i
n co-operation with Politecnico of Milan, Laboratory LIGHT & COLOUR, a serious research based on theoretic premises and experimental verifications, obtained by means of various tests and with the involvement of a great number of individuals, divided b
y sex in equal proportions.
This research allowed the definition of the most valid technical solutions, coupling the minimal energy consumption to the best chromatic yield for food.
In short the "food light" versions of the minis
osia range use the most suitable light sources together with selective filters that highlight specific colour ranges, cutting unuseful electromagnetic power and the UV radiation always bad for the conservation and the appearance of food.
