At the Monaco Yacht Show records are there to be broken. When the luxury yachts line up once again in the famous Port Hercules in Monte Carlo from September 28 until October 1, 2016, there will be millions, billions even in the water. This is where the richest people in the world will be meeting to make their particular maritime wishes come true. Ships larger more than a villa are handed over to new owners here. The Wider 150 “Genesi” will also find a new proprietor in Monaco: a 47-meter-long superyacht designed by Fulvio De Simoni in collaboration with Tilli Antonelli, Wider founder and CEO, and the Wider design team.
Wider 150 "Genesi", built entirely from aluminum, boasts some 350 square meters of outdoor space, subdivided into a variety of areas. The three decks offer various lounges, all furnished with Paola Lenti's furniture. For its outdoor creations, the well-known company makes use of high-tech yarns, such as Rope, a brand material suitable for outdoor. The result: weather- and water-proof pieces of furniture that are also resistant to fresh and chlorinated water and extremely robust to boot thanks to the technical qualities gained over years of research. Moreover, the unique colors palette possesses high UV resistance – an absolute must on the water.
Individual color concepts were developed for the various outdoor areas. The very top deck features turquoise “Orlando” seating elements, combined with ice-color side tables to result in a fresh look that references the colors of the sky, sea, clouds and whitecaps. The mid and lower decks are in more muted tones, with “Sabi” seating in sand and brown combined with brown “Frame” benches and side tables, for instance. A fresh, spring green livens up the lounges in front of the control cabin and on the pool deck, which harmonizes very well with dark brown tones. The comfortable padding and pleasant materials make relaxing on board a special pleasure.
The simple and elegant, innovative and colorful Paola Lenti's outdoor furniture is not only a good choice on the high seas however. On the occasion of the Cannes Yachting Festival (runs until September 11, 2016) the company is kitting out the areas of the Italian yacht manufacturer Sanlorenzo in Vieux Port de Cannes and Port Canto with the latest sofas, armchairs, chairs and tables, dressed up in the newest range of pastel tones. Later on, from September 28 to October 1, 2016, Paola Lenti will be once again among the protagonists of the Monaco Yacht Show in Monte Carlo as it will set-up of the Upper Deck Lounge, the core area of the event, in cooperation with Sabrina Monte-Carlo, official distributor of the brand in the Principality. This deck lounge, fitted out with “Orlando” sofas, is directly in front of the bridge. Not only the backrests, but the seating elements themselves are flexible: they can be positioned lengthways and crossways. Photo © Jeff Brown/Breed Media
Raising the yacht’s stern platform creates a swim deck from which you can jump into the saltwater pool or the sea. The “Baia” sun beds, whose backrest can be locked in three positions, was designed by Francesco Rota for Paola Lenti.
